Land Acknowledgment

With deep gratitude, we acknowledge that we gather on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. This includes the Blackfoot Confederacy - comprising of the Siksika, Kainai and Piikani Nations, as well as the Tsuut'ina Nation and the Îyârhe Nakoda Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations.

Calgary is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, whose contributions to this land continue to be significant and enduring.
